Overview/Benefits
- Provide reliable protection from back siphonage only for low, moderate or high risk systems.
- Careful consideration shall be given to the possibility of improper use of SRPVB devices, e.g., when a downstream connection is made that would permit back pressure to occur.
- The critical level must be located at least 300 mm above the overflow level of the fixture, container or accessory.
